"A short summary about myself...."
|
Jeanette Lotz (born 1968 in Freiburg i. Br.) began her career as an artist in Australia in 1999, with exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney, among others. Since her return to Europe in 2007, she has lived and worked in the Netherlands (The Hague). For her modern, almost photorealistic paintings on a large format, she mainly uses pigments, oil and acrylic colours. She is particularly fascinated by how people function as social beings in our modern society. This is also the main inspiration for her paintings. She usually works on a central theme for 1 to 2 years and tries to approach the subject from different perspectives. Each picture tells its own story, whereby the chosen colour schemes are very decisive. She is often inspired by other art forms, such as prose, dance or graphic elements, whereby these are often integrated into the painting. |
